Mollie was built in 2001 by Mike Haywood of Evans and Son,Stafford, a quality made hull from a respected boat builder, and fitted to a professional standard by her first owner. To date she has had only two owners. She was blacked Spring 2008, and her safety certificate was issued August 2008.
She is a well maintained, comfortable and much loved boat that has been used as a liveaboard for the last four years. There is plenty of headroom for tall people. Mollie is ready to move onto and sail away!
LAYOUT:
Stepping on the anti-slip floor of the boat at the bow you'll first come across the concealed gas storage area (room for 2 x 13kg bottles) and an outside storage box that doubles as a bench to admire the view.
Through the half glazed doors takes you into the modern styled galley with ample storage, full sized gas cooker with 4 gas rings, full sized Servis fridge (12 or 240v) and full sized Servis washing machine. The worktops are a blue/green colour complimented by blue tiled splash back areas on both sides of the galley. The close proximity of the doors along with two windows allows plenty of ventilation, and guests outside can chat easily to the cooks in the kitchen.
Immediately next to the galley is the Pulman dinette. Able to seat four people, the chocolate brown upholstered seats have spacious storage underneath, and once the table is adjusted, a double bed is quickly made, making Mollie a four-berth boat.
After the dinette comes an above average sized saloon large enough for a gathering of friends or family. This spacious airy feeling is complemented by a multi fuel stove with a rich green tiled hearth (the stove has a back boiler to copper piping proving heat around the boat) and a side hatch with double doors (a Perspex panel is included that can convert the hatch to an additional window if desired).
A corridor off the saloon leads to the bathroom equipped with a full sized shower cubicle (tiled in white) with glazed door, storage area to the side of the shower and in the vanity unit under the basin (white), and a porta pottie.
Next comes a door to the bedroom, comprising of fixed double bed with good quality sprung mattress (Silent Night) and ample storage underneath. To the end of the bed, there is also a fixed wardrobe with generous wardrobe space. The hot water tank is situated underneath the wardrobe and is ventilated so that your clothes will be warm and dry.
A door at the end of the bedroom leads you to another storage area, the engine room, at the aft with a Beta Marine 1505 engine situated under the floor. A built in cupboard houses the 3kw Travelpack generator. Mollie has three deep cycle batteries and one starter battery. A hull identification certificate is clearly visible on the back door.
